We buy from local farms and growers whenever possible to bring you the freshest, most beautiful flowers from our Northwest area.  Oregon grown flowers include tulips, roses, lilies and many other seasonal varieties.  Oregon forests and farms produce much of the fresh greenery used across the U.S. in floral designs. 


Our industry responsibility extends beyond our products into our business practices.  We are a leading member of the Society of American Florists, who provides best practices leadership through collaboration and support of flower growers, flower wholesalers and retail flower stores.  Dandelions Flowers owner Shirley Lyons has served with SAF for more than 10 years on boards and commitees.

Green Waste Recycling at Dandelions

Dandelions was a city and regional leader in "green waste recycling" for flower shops.  Instead of throwing the hundreds of pounds of stems, leaves and old product into the trash system, Dandelions seperates all "green waste" for recycling and composting through the city of Eugene.

We also take in hundreds of vases a year to be reused through our vase recycling program!
